After more than seven years away from creating websites, I feel it's now time to get back in the saddle, as the saying goes.

How things have changed in such a short period of time. With updated versions of Joomla!, ProcessWire, PHP & MySQL, and new programming languages appearing along the way, there's a lot to catch up on now that I've finally got the time to spare again.

So I have decided to revive a previous work in progress, that was originally intended for a prospective client but never came to light, to use as a blueprint to help me get back up to speed.

This website is held on my personnal testing server, and is mainly intended for my own use, in order to test out new ideas and get back into the swing of things. As you have come across it, feel free to browse it to get an idea of the things that interest me.

I've lived in Bolton, Lancashire all my life, and like many other towns in Britain, it's starting to look worn out. Plans are currently afoot to regenerate the town, and this page shows a few of the projects planned within the town centre and neighbouring areas.

I would be interested to hear from you with details of how you came across this site, and any comments on how you feel I can improve this and any other sites I have in progress.
